How to play
- Destroy all cars, tanks, buildings and fighter planes before your time
expires.
- Your time will increase with every car, tank, building or fighter plane
you destroy.
- Your time will decrease every time you are hit by enemy fire.
- The key strategy to winning is to build up your time reserves by pulling
off "building combos". For each building that collapses on top of another
building, the amount of time gained doubles.
- The game is made significantly less difficult when easy mode is turned
on. The time you start with and the time you get from destroying enemies is
doubled, and the time you lose from enemy fire is halved.
- In Two Player mode (At least one XBox 360 controller required) each
player has to manage their own timer. Whether you choose to compete, or
co-operate with each other is entirely up to you.
Story
BattleSuit pilots of Peoples Socialist Democratic Republic: capitalists of
La Isla Bonita must destroy make. All cars, buildings, tanks, planes must make
destroy. Equal poverty means equal freedom. Go for great freedom and
justice.
About
Blow Stuff Up was originally a short prototype developed entirely in a
single week. The Earok 2011 collection version is a major overhaul of the
original game, now featuring a far more kinetic, frantic feel (due to the
countdown timer replacing the traditional health counter) and the two player
mode.
Future versions of the game may feature terrain deformation, online
multiplayer, more realistic looking building collapses, and may make an
appearance on the XBox Live Indie channel.
Hope you enjoy.
